Answers:
add more perches an get smaller dishes move things around maybe he likes to sit in that place so put a perch where the dish was
There are different types of feeders- get about 4 smaller food dishes and place them...they may be too small for him to perch on.
There are also tubular feeders that have a very small opening the food comes out of...no way he could perch on that.

Did you ever stop to think that he might be telling you what he thinks about the brand of food you are buying? I had a bird that actually did that when I tried to introduce a new type of food. I put the old food back, and he never did it again!
If not:
Does be have lots of other perches? Some birds like swings or rope perches. A Sycamore wood perch can be well liked because they have lots of knobs and twists in the wood.
If all else fails, you can find dishes with a hood over the food. It lets the bird eat, but doesn't let them get their behind in the bowl.
Good Luck!
There are bird feeders that attach to the outside of the cage which will illiminate this from happening. Make sure that your bird has many different levels and types of perches. They need perches that they can chew on a rough perches to help reduce their claw lengths.
hmm...get those typ of waterbottles that are like for bunnies but i dunno if theyr for birds too.ask where they sell them :D
Get a dish that has a cover on it and won't allow the bird to sit on it.
