It is probably fertile. It's best to just leave them alone. It will take a while for all of them to hatch, if all of them do hatch. They feed the babies as soon as they hatch, and really you don't have to do anything.
If you're sure they are fertile, I guess you could let them hatch. However, the biggest problem is when the time comes that they need a breeder box for warmth and hand feeding. Cockatiels are much better birds if they are hand fed. Do you know how that is done? Perhaps you have a pet store locally that takes care of newborn birds and will buy them from you. I was once given a cockateil that was not hand raised, and I could not tame her down. Hand feeding is the best option for you and the babies.
They are fertile, the way you can tell if there is anything growing inside is to hold them up to a flash light and see if you can see any red vains in there. Cockatiel eggs hatch at 19 to 21 day after the mom starts to sit on them full time.
When you get to day 19 start listening to the eggs and you will actually hear them cheeping inside. You will see a small hole in the egg that looks like a pin prick, this is the baby piping out. Check them often.
Starting now you need to make sure you have a brooder set up - I use a 10 gal. aquarium with aspin pine shavings in it. Place a heating pad under the bottom of the aquarium and set it to the lowest setting. Get a thermometer to measure the temp. Also you will need to set a tall glass of water in the aquarium for the humitity. Wrap the aquarium, heater in a towel so that it holds the heat in.
If your not experienced at feeding a baby cockatiel you need to look on line or even youtube. Most books will show you how to feed them. BUT if you can avoid removing the babies then let the parents do their job and enjoy the new babies and your sleep for a few weeks.
Learn what you can on how to feed them and pull them from the nest box at 14 days (that way you get gentle social birds and you don't have to wake up every couple of hours to feed them).
Hope this helps.Congrats and good luck
the only way to tell that i know of is to see if they hatch. female 'tiels do lay unfertile eggs sometimes. i think that if she hasn't ever laid unfertile eggs before that there is more of a chance that these new ones are fertile.
Dude it takes 21 DAYS for it to hatch! And if it still doesnt it is probably a LATE comer! Like my baby bird! My bird has 7 eggs! Before that 10!! U have to be really patient!

Good Luck! :)
