Can i put 2 african greys in the same cage or will they fight?

my african grey is lonely i think so i was wondering if i get another one will they get along? i don't know the sexes.
Answers:
nooooooooooo. african greys are very finicky, they are such complicated birds that you may have trouble. let them get to know each other from a distance and even that may not work.
Larger birds cnanot be caged together, well they can but it comes at a price.
1) You will lose your bond with your grey if they do get along.
2) If they fight either could be seriously injured
3) you would ahve to buy a pretyt big cage to house TWO grey's together.
If your bird is lonely try spending more time with it. They are highly intelligent and sensitive so they need about at least 2 hours a day out of the cage interacting with their humans. That could really help. Try this before trying to buy another bird and jeopardizing your bond with your grey.
I wouldn't consider it even if it was 1female and 1 male because the males get kinda terratorial.
i have 2 african greys. the first one got lonely so eventually we bought a second one,but we didnt put it in the same cage with the first one. we have them across the room from each other in separate cages.maybe you could try that. hope this helps
i agree with shadow .
