3 cockatiel questions?

1. Tomorrow i am taking my tiel to the vet for a check up, is it ok if i take him in a medium sized kennel? Its either that or the little petsmart box.
2. Is it possible for a cockatiel to become addicted to a nut stick?
3. And today hes not acting very normal, hes making weird sounds, hes just sitting in one spot, and hes ate a lot off the nut stick lately. Could he have a stomache ache?
Answers:
1- I would take him in the kennel. He does not need a perch for a short ride. You can put toys in the cage to keep him busy. I suggest you buy Cockatiel Jingle Toys. Their sold at most toy stores in a clear jar with a lid.
2- No they can not become addicted to it. Its just probley new to him and he is loving life!
3- I am sorry but i dont really know. But i know this, they way you discrive it it seems like he will be fine till you ask the vet tomorrow. And i know tomorrows just a check up but you can ask him whats wrong!

Hope he is okay and email with any questions.
well a pet carrier is ok and yes i have a cockatiel a female to be excat and ur is a male well mine eats honney sticks and she loves them but mine makes weird noises to cause she is trying to tlak or she is very well satisfied she doesn't move hardly though i hope this helps
1. That would be ok but line the bottom with a towel, adn as long as it is a short drive you won't need to provide water or food.
2. No, but they can love it...a lot!
3. I guess he could ahve a stomach ache but bird usualyl don't get that I don't think. It's good you're taking him to the vet: jsut describe those things and the avian vet should ahve an answer.
ok , for # 1. the kennel is fine as long as you place a towle in the bottom and your bird can't get through the wire front.
#2. They don't really get addicted it tastes good to them and they will pig out on a favorite food.
#3. strange nosies could be trying to talk, the rubbing of his beak,or just that his a little grumpy.
