You can pick them up and replace them in the nest...as you "force-fledged" them. They may have needed to stay in the nest a little longer..but since they were able to get out of the nest in the first place indicates that they are older and do not have much time left to spend in the nest. They may be a little safer in the nest at this point. If you cannot catch them..just leave them be...like I said they are older and should be able to survive at this point...the parents will continue to care for them as long as they can hear or see them.
baby birds will generally spend the first 24 - 48 hours on the ground, in the bushes being fed by their parents. Let nature take its course - DO NOT INTERFERE
Just leave him where he is. The parents will take care of him. I found a baby bluebird at my house too and I just picked him up and put him back where he came from and the parents kept on feeding him, etc. He will be ok!!
Don't mess with them. Observe from a distance. Or if you wish, call a wildlife rescue organization. They have trained personnel who can advise you over the phone.
If it was a human interaction that put them out of the nest and not them just fledging, you can put them back. (the whole mom wont feed them if a human touches them is just a myth) they will be safer back in the nest(nothing will come along and eat them), and mom and dad will come back and take care of the little guys.
Don't pick up the bird! It is actually illegal for you to take in a wild bird, even to save its life.
The parents will probably take care of the bird. If you are worried that the babies are in trouble, then call the State Department of Natural Resources ( Fish and Game ). They will have experienced people who can care for wild birds, called Wildlife Rehabilitaters.
leave them alone dont pick them up the parent will come get them!
